Lago di Garlate

Features

Garlate Lake is situated south of Lake Como and it is made up of the Adda River. Not only are its landscapes beautiful but it is also surrounded by historically rich locations – namely Monte Barro – that since ancient times were crossed by routes, vital to the defence of the territories and to transalpine trades. The routes had the same purpose during the Longobard period too.
